The website www.stampedintradition.com is owned and operated by Stamped in Tradition which is a partnership between Michelle Wilson and Robert Legg of 36 Crossfield Road, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, EN11 0HN.
All references to “we”, “us”, “our” or “the website” are references to Stamped in Tradition. “You” or “your” or “yours” refers to the ordering party or the person on whose behalf the order is made.
These terms and conditions are valid for any order placed on the website at www.stampedintradition.com. We do not accept other terms and conditions by you. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to check before ordering.
All orders placed on this website are binding on your behalf. When you place an order via our website, we will treat that as an offer to buy.
All orders received via the website will be acknowledged by a system generated order confirmation e-mail at which time we enter into a contract with you.
If a confirmation e-mail is not received, your order may not have been received and you should contact us to confirm this.
If your order includes an image that you have uploaded to our website, our acceptance of your order is conditional on the suitability of the image for use with our customised stamp service. In order to be suitable, the uploaded image must comply with the technical requirements specified on the page of the website on which images may be uploaded. If the image you have uploaded is unsuitable, we will contact you within five working days of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse production of stamps that, in our opinion, are or have potential to be offensive, insulting or potentially fraudulent. In such a case, you will be informed and any monies paid will be refunded.
Cancellation of Orders
You cannot cancel an order for a customised stamp(s).
For all orders of non-customised goods, you have a right (Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000) to cancel your order in writing or by email seven working days, beginning with the day after the day on which you receive the goods. Please see below for method and costs of return.
The price for the goods shown on our website at the date of your order is the applicable price. Price changes may occur over a period of time and will be updated on our website.
If your delivery address is outside the UK, you may be required to pay import duties and taxes when your order reaches your country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibility.
Important: You are responsible for entering and proof reading all the text and details entered for each design of every item ordered. This includes text such as postal address, e-mail address, telephone numbers and reference numbers etc. that may be included in the design. We assume that you have checked the details and that they are correct. Where possible, if poor quality artwork or obvious typographical errors are noted, we will try to contact you for confirmation of the order before production but the sole responsibility is always with you. We do not accept any liability for any costs associated with errors in stamp design prior to our manufacture and shipping.
Rights to use Content/Rights in Uploaded Images
You warrant that you have appropriate intellectual property rights and any other required permissions or licenses to use all content, data or details you ask us to use or which you upload to our website. You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless for all liability resulting from any breach of warranties including the above-mentioned breach intellectual property warranty.
Commercial Use/Resale of Items Incorporating Stamped Images (Angel Policy)
All images or artwork, or any element of such images or artwork provided by us, are protected by the laws of copyright and may not therefore be used or copied without our permission.
We give you permission to use stamps incorporating our images/artwork to make items if they are stamped by hand and are made: (i) for personal or domestic use/non-commercial purposes; or (ii) for sale locally to raise funds for charity and/or community purposes. This permission does not extend to allow sale through commercial retail outlets, via the internet or via social media.
You may not use stamps incorporating our images/artwork in any process which involves graphic, digital, mechanical or electronic reproduction including photocopying.
You may not use stamps incorporating our images/artwork for business logos or clip art.
You are not restricted by these terms or by our intellectual property rights in the use of custom stamps which do not incorporate any of our images or artwork (although you may be restricted by the rights of the copyright owner of the uploaded images/artwork).
Payments can be made by card (all major debit and credit cards accepted), or through Paypal. Card payments are made by using our high security payment system through Paypoint.net. WHATEVER ONE WE WILL USE
Postage is charged at the applicable flat rate stated on our website. (There are different rates for (i) United Kingdom and Channel Islands and (ii) the rest of the world).
Your order will normally be packed and dispatched by Royal Mail first class post or a courier within 4-5 days. Customised stamps may take longer and you will be advised of this at point of acceptance of the item.
Current shipping time/delivery times displayed on our website are to provide a guideline only and are not guaranteed. We shall not be liable to you for any delays in delivery.
Please note that customers are solely responsible for entering complete and correct postal details for each order. We are not liable or responsible for any lost orders owing to incorrect information being given.
Returns Policy and Our Liability to You
Non-customised goods only: If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it. It must be unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrapping in tact). We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. You are responsible for the costs of the return postage.
Customised stamps: In respect of customised stamps, we are unable to offer refunds unless there is an error or defect with the goods on our part.
All goods with a clear error in manufacture will be replaced at no extra cost to you. All returns are inspected by a member of staff and a decision whether to replace or refund will be made where applicable.
In relation to customised goods, we are not responsible for any costs incurred in relation to customer error.
We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third party claims.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
Your personal details will only be used to handle the order and all information gathered will never be passed on to or sold to third parties. However, please note that from time to time we may contact you via email or newsletter regarding our products and services. If you do not wish to receive news from us, please confirm this to us.
If you wish to make a complaint, please fully detail your issue and feel free to forward this on to us either by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or post to: Stamped in Tradition, 36 Crossfield Road, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, EN11 0HN and we will fully investigate the matter and respond to the complaint within 14 working days.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
