Our Craft & Products

What is a “cold-cast bronze” stamp?

Cold-casting is a traditional method where we blend real bronze metal powder with a high-quality resin. This allows us to achieve the beautiful weight, tactile durability, and authentic metallic finish of solid bronze, whilst capturing incredibly crisp, fine details in your stamp’s design.

Can I use your stamps for wax sealing?

Absolutely. Our stamps are perfect for creating traditional wax seals on envelopes, packaging, and crafts. For the cleanest impression, we recommend resting the stamp on an ice pack between presses to keep the bronze cool, ensuring the hot wax releases effortlessly.

Are your stamp handles made from real wood?

Yes! Every stamp features a tactile wooden handle, designed to be comfortable to hold and to provide even pressure when stamping your designs.

Bespoke Designs

Can you create a custom stamp from my own logo or artwork

Yes, bespoke designs are one of our specialities! Whether it is a wedding monogram, a small business logo, or a personal family crest, we can cast a custom stamp just for you.

What file type do I need to supply for a custom design

To ensure the sharpest cast, we ideally need a high-resolution, black-and-white vector file (such as a PDF, EPS, or AI) or a high-quality JPEG or PNG. If you are unsure whether your artwork is suitable, please get in touch and we will happily review it for you.

Can I change my personalisation?

If you’ve just ordered, email us immediately. Once we have begun the stamping process, we unfortunately cannot make changes.

Care & Maintenance

How should I clean my stamp after use?

After each project, gently wipe the bronze surface with a damp, lint-free cloth or a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove any residual ink. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners or abrasive scrubbers, as these can dull the hand-finished bronze lustre over time.

What type of ink is best to use?

While the bronze surface is highly durable, pigment-based or archival inks are recommended for the best results. If using permanent inks, ensure the stamp is cleaned immediately after use.

Can I use my stamp for clay or wax impressions?

If using the stamp for clay or wax impressions, ensure the bronze face is lightly coated with a release agent (like a touch of cornflour or water) to prevent sticking.

How should I store my stamp?

Store your stamp in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods to preserve the natural wood mount.

Are the stamp dimensions exactly as listed?
